Birmingham CrossCity Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is inviting people to join in with a celebration of its work over the past year. ‘Working together for Birmingham’ is the theme of this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is being held on Thursday 17 September.
People are invited to join the CCG at Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Westbourne Road, Birmingham, B15 3TR, from 6pm. They will be able to hear more about the CCG’s work, find out about plans for the future, as well as ask questions.
The event, which offers those attending free parking and entry to the Botanical Gardens from 6pm, will include presentations from Birmingham CrossCity CCG Chair, Dr Gavin Ralston, and Clinical Accountable Officer Dr Barbara King.
There will also be an opportunity to look around a health fair with over 30 stalls, including: Public Health, who are offering healthy lifestyle checks; Diabetes UK; Alzheimer’s Society; Big Lottery Fund; British Lung Foundation; Macmillan; West Midlands Ambulance Service; West Midlands Fire Service and many more.
Dr Gavin Ralston, Chairman of Birmingham CrossCity CCG, said: “I am really excited about the work that we have done over the past year and look forward to sharing news of our progress with those attending.
“Our AGM also offers people a chance to ask questions about the work we do, as well as find out more about our priorities for the coming year. Last year’s event was attended by over 200 people and we hope this year’s event is just as successful.”
