Volunteer required for Medicine Management Project Group

The Area Prescribing Committee (APC) is a strategic group made up of clinical, professional and patient/ public representatives.

It is tasked with improving the safe and effective use of medicines, and ensuring consistency in prescribing across the Birmingham, Sandwell, Solihull and South East Staffordshire & Seisdon Peninsula areas. We are looking for a patient or public representative who can commit to joining us at regular monthly meetings which will be held in Solihull.

If you have an understanding of the experiences and needs of patients and carers, and the public with regard to the use of medicines within the NHS, a basic knowledge of how medicines are prescribed and dispensed in the NHS, and are interested in ensuring that high standards are maintained in the use of medicines then we would like to hear from you.
