Have your say in shaping patient services - we want to hear from you

Patients in south and central Birmingham are being urged to have their say in helping to shape their healthcare services.

Birmingham South Central Clinical Commissioning Group (BSC CCG), which buys services for about 250,000 city residents, is holding an engagement workshop for local people to find out how they can be involved in local health matters and contribute with new ideas.

The event, called NHS Listens, is taking place on Wednesday 12 June at the Clarendon Suites, Stirling Road, Birmingham, B16 9SB, from 4.30–8pm.

Dr Andrew Coward, Chair of BSC CCG, said: “We are looking forward to local people joining the conversation about their health services and telling us what matters to them.

“There are now so many different ways of communicating.  We would like to hear from our patients, carers and community groups about how they would like us to connect with them.

“This is an opportunity for people to learn more about how we work and what the recent changes to the NHS mean for them; as well as receiving a copy of our new Patient prospectus, taking part in interactive workshops and meeting existing patient groups and NHS staff.”
