Birmingham CrossCity Clinical Commissioning Group is led by its Governing Body which is responsible for the development of our vision and strategy, approving our commissioning plans and consultation arrangements, and monitoring the performance and quality improvement of our providers.
It is also there to ensure that there is good governance of the CCG and to promote a culture of strong engagement with patients, their carers, members, the public and other stakeholders about the activity and progress of the CCG.
The Governing Body is supported by a number of committees:

We have a strong emphasis on being clinically led and membership of Birmingham CrossCity Clinical Commissioning Group is made up of local GPs and a Senior Management Team of full time officers and managers. There are also three lay representatives who represent the interests of the public.
